These data and their annotation were supplied to GenBank by Will Gilbert under the auspices of the GenBank Currator Program. The tetracycline resistance promoter was separated from coding sequence by the URA3 gene. Tc-R is dependent on the construct. ATCC size is 7769 bp. This was constructed by inserting a 2.2 kb EcoRI 2 micron B fragment and a 1.1 kb HindIII URA3 fragment into the EcoRI and HindIII sites of pBR322.
