These data and their annotation were supplied to GenBank by Will Gilbert under the auspices of the GenBank Currator Program. The length of G- or C-tails used in the cloning procedure is not exactly known. Therefore the sequencea 1428-1437, C(10) and 2601-2610 G(10) are tentative. Size could be 5541 bp. ATCC size is 5500 bp. This was constructed by cloning the 1.1 kb HindIII fragment containing URA3 from lambda590-Sc2904 into the AvaI site of pBR322. The 5' - 3' orientation of URA3 is clockwise; SmaI & AvaI sites in the 3' of URA3 are close to the PvuII site of pBR322. [7] A general purpose integrating Saccharomyces cerevisiae/Escherichia coli shuttle vector. [1] Medium is 1227 LB plus ampicillin.
